Nazadus (2006.01.02): I appreciate you adding that header in the VirtualHosting. I've been working on OpenBSD lately and probably won't be working on Gentoo (for a server) for a while (if ever). So I'm dumping that article. There was a newer one that is (supposedly) better. It can be found at HOWTO Email: A Complete Virtual System and while it doesn't have the Apache stuff in it... it's still pretty good. I'm also using RoundCube webmail. SQmail had way too many insecurities and I didn't feel like doing updates every 30 seconds. Becucase OpenBSD uses Apache 1.x I am still not _that_ familiar with Apache2.
- LX 21:00, 4 January 2006 (GMT): As far as I know, there are enough other articles covering the issue how to set up virtual hosting components. However, I still like the article initiated by you, because it is all the stuff on one page and it's not too comprehensive.
- I think, the best thing would be to mark the HOWTO deprecated and to find out if other pages can do the same job. Maybe then, one could also add a list of these "modules" on this page. I wouldn't like this page to be deleted; first because it is linked very often on the internet, and second because the hints an discussions can still be insightful to people with problems.
