Why not use the binary nvidia driver in portage in the Video_and_Xorg section of Clevo M38AW?
You only need to run:

emerge nvidia-kernel nvidia-glx

You will have to emerge nvidia-kernel every time after you upgrade or recompile your kernel. nvidia-glx doesn't need to be recompiled after changing the kernel. --AnMaster 17:50, 6 January 2006 (GMT)

I agree that Template:Commandline looks bad, but it's for in line use. Therefore it can't be a box.
In the future use Gentoo Linux Wiki:Site Changes for site changes not talkpages of templates.
