Well, I am an old linux user. Gentoo is my everyday distribution, Suse was my everyday distribution, and Agnula was my favorite audio pro distribution.

Sound is a main issue in my use of a computer, and it is insane that the sound configuration is a nightmare on linux for an user that want to do serious audio work. It is specialized distributions such as Agnula, Planet CCMRA or Musix that have done a very good job to fix most of those problems, but with all the other distributions. it just take too much time. A musician or a dj just want to make music, he or she doesn't want to fix the system.

My favorite gentoo overlay: pro audio production applications portage overlay where I contribute with ebuilds when I get some time.

I contributed some new functions to FVWM-Crystal and I am AlsaPlayer's administrator.
