Talk:TIP GIMP Fractal Backgrounds
From Gentoo Linux Wiki
Maybe we should make a list where people can post their links to backgrounds that they made? , btw, I made one here: [1] - 66.93.220.3 04:02, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
- Feel free to upload htem to the wiki if you want storage for them - Thrasher 04:05, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
- I added a gallery at the bottom of the article, so feel free to upload your image to the wiki and then add it to the gallery. -Tro 20:28, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
- I will add the new ones I'm making once I get like..5 of them or so. Also, I've had the best results using the gradient method, but, I haven't tried the method in the colorize section. - Nick125 00:50, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
Wow, i didn't expect this article would get so much attention. I've added another image, looks like a flame. i should have a large collection of these that i made over the last year, but they are on my server. If the compressed size isn't too big i might upload some of them. I can't seem to get good compression on these files for some reason. I hope to see some collections coming together soon for something that can be screensaver'd.

Awesome! Thanks. Dgrant 01:59, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
Can someone write a Script-Fu extension to automate this? LXj 16:53, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
What I'd love is a command line script for this, so I could use a daily random image as my desktop background. --LeonWeber 21:20, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
Sorry for the interruption, but these are not Fractal Images. They are cool but not Fractals.
- I think they have a basis in fractals. I'm pretty sure of it, actually. CarpeGuitarrem 19:35, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
