[edit] Missing theme engine?

Following these directions (I'm using GTK+ apps in fluxbox), I downloaded Clearlooks-Quicksilver and Tangoish themes from art.gnome.org. When I switch themes with gtk-chtheme, I get some warnings in the console such as: 

(gtk-chtheme:21224): Gtk-WARNING **: Unable to locate theme engine in module_path: "mist",
(gtk-chtheme:21224): Gtk-WARNING **: Unable to locate theme engine in module_path: "clearlooks",

What am I missing? Also, with both of these themes, highlighted menu text is almost the same color as the background, so any menu items I highlight are unreadable. Maybe some screenshots and suggestions of good themes would make this page more informative.
