[edit] Need Help Finding Other Guides to Steal From

There are other guides for this, but they are hard to search because of the 3-letter name 'ssh'. How do we find them?

Would 'HOWTO Secure shell' or 'HOWTO sshd' be the better name for this guide?

Log into your home PC from school, work, the library, etc from any major operating system.

I haven't found anything that would suggest you can log into you home computer from other networks, which is what I wish I could do.

Yes this is true you just need to setup your firewall and the taget system first and have a static IP address or DDNS
