Q. Will installing Gentoo/repartitioning scew up Quickplay?
A. Not if you don't delete the partition.
Q. Are you sure?
A. Yes, I had Gentoo, Debian, Dos, and Windows along with Quickplay all working fine.
Q. Can I still just press either one of the cd/dvd buttons on the keyboard/remote and have it just 'work'?
A: Yes.
Q. Even if I rebind those keys to something else?
A. Binding keys only affects the current operating systems functionality and how it handles specific keycodes. It doesn't hardcord those changes into the device.
Q. Do I have to use Grub to boot it?
A. I think you probably could, but it should work if you just keep the partition bootable.
Q. Ah!!! You lied and it doesn't work, I want my Quickplay back! What do I do?
A. Throw in your system restore CD...
