[edit] Is Fstab Doable?

Adding to fstab the device isn't recognized at boot:

fsck.hfsplus: not a valid option -- a

Followed by the output of possible commands. has anyone found a way to add this?

Simplest solution would be to change the fsck flag at the end of the fstab entry to a zero.

[edit] Problems Compiling =

This page is horribly out of date! I don't know what to update, but the package for hfsdisk_dev is quite a few revisions behind, the patch doesn't work anymore, and I can't even get it to compile (and I'm a programmer). --24.13.41.204 00:53, 10 May 2007 (UTC)

And... ugh. Seems to be broken regardless on x86_64. Cweyl 02:49, 11 May 2007 (UTC)

I compiled this a two weeks ago and had not problems. --Dirk R. Gently 07:13, 11 May 2007 (UTC)

I can still build/compile... mkfs & fsck seem to work just fine under i386, but fsck always segfaults under x86_64. Cweyl 15:17, 11 May 2007 (UTC)

Instructions for building on x86_64 can be found in this thread: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=392287
