I've tried to follow this guide after making livecd's with the chroot method found here [1]. Unfortunately this guide needs updating and extensive editing. Its very hard to read through this and work out exactly what to do. For instance, the note about NOT using a gentoo stage3 if using your own snapshots. So what are we supposed to do? I've looked around for clues but I just can't make sense of it.

I'm reverting back to the LiveCD from scratch Howto now, but hopefully someone with the right knowledge can clean this up a bit?
