What id like to see here is a howto on how to make extended keys work,
Ie: on my particular keyboard there is an extension keypad that registers as a different USB device, and a different event dev, and does not send keys to either the console or to X.

It's actually not alt, it's mod1. The text of the option is misleading. If you assign say, Super_L (lwin) to mod1, with grp:alt_shift_toggle you will still switch with shift+lwin.

I am from Germany and only want US-Layout in Special cases. So I want "de" as default "XkbLayout". I used "de,us", but "us" was still default. Can anybody tell what to do? Thanks in advance, keks<keksATunstableDOTnl>
