I agree, generalisation is not necessarily a bad thing. Methods of doing things within Gentoo may change over time and thus general information may ease future transitions. Cav 08:04, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

as a tu/e student, I vote for keeping this page!

I disagree with the nomimnation. While this article may not be Gentoo specific, I don't see why we should have any issue with articles on setups for specific networks. This is a Gentoo Linux wiki, therefor anything that applies to Gentoo Linux should be allowed here, even if it's not Gentoo specific.
