First: Nice cleanup work... looks waay better now.

I just followed this HOWTO to the letter for setting up a new gentoo box. Works perfectly. I'm still trying to find a sane and safe way to clean up old SquashFS images without breaking anything. --Jinks 05:33, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

I wikified a bit and updated the script to the last version I put in the forum. Also note that mv is improving my script (he now uses AuFS instead of unionfs, which is probably a good idea).

This version of the script does not leave portage-<date> behind and does not require clean-ups anymore.
