[edit] Resizing windows

Hey dudes, question! In fluxbox when you resize, it only makes an outline of the resized window until you stop resizing In Openbox, it resizes the window the entire time you are resizing, with the contents being resized.

This is laggy on older systems with apps like firefox, is there anyway to disable it? thx2u

Yes there is. There is an option in Obconf but you can also edit it in rc.xml The specific option is under <resize> and is named <drawContents> Steven 02:06, 8 February 2006 (GMT)

Openbox 3.4 has added new easy-to-use options for starting Openbox, and autostart capability when running Openbox without a DE.
