[edit] Special kernel options?
Do get lirc to compile I need the options: USB Serial device and Module Unloading enabled in my kernel. The ebuild doesn't mention these.
What remote, which kernel package? Is it still true (recent kernel+recent lirc)? --Kraymer 13:04, 13 December 2006 (UTC)

StreamZap was removed as a special mention since, it build with:
- lirc 0.8.0
- gentoo-source 2.6.15-r1
Not sure if streamzap is still needed in the USE var.
Hm, so what to do about it? For which remote is it used, is it still available in recent ebuilds? What do you mean with "removed"? (Sorry, streamzap doesn't ring a bell at all here..) --Kraymer 13:04, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
