This HowTo works well untill you come to this point:

mount /dev/drbd0 /mirror

- it is not possible, I presume tahat some filesystem is needed first?

I suggest that you remove the "under construction" note. I take the liberty of making some little corrections in the page. Usually, a user-oriented documentation is done in a month, after what we switch to the next geekdom of interest :)

I know I'm not supposed to edit the page but there are some errors (a filesystem is needed before mounting the drbd device) and I will be installing all of this (including heartbeat) to a new server rather soon. This is a pretty fun service to run and I want more people to be able to get all the way though the installation of heartbeat. Also, I will be adding more information on how exactly the switch over to the secondary works from a network point of view. --71.219.187.40 04:54, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
