is there another method than cross compiling??? because i've heard the name of another method but i'm not shure (it was long time ago) mabe i'm confunding with toolchain is cross-developement toolchain the same of a cross-compiling environement (in gentoo the toolchain is build with stage1 and operational at stage 2??? i think it is the gcc and libs(for example c libs in order to run c programs that call theses librairies trough c functions) that can compile on a system)
