Hi there. I have an Averatec 3156X which comes with a built-in Intersil Prism 3 USB WLAN device. I miss the WLAN section of this otherwise very good page.

By the way, the linux-wlan-ng drivers (as of now version 0.23) enable me to find networks using kismet. Connecting, however, works only unencrypted for me. :-( --Andre


Hello I am wondering how much of a performance / "snappyness" advantage there is between xp and linux on the 3150? this is the reason i am thinking of upgrading to linux. thanks
