Too many things to list. My plan is to get everything working for myself, then go about deciding the best way to advise others how to do so. I'm considering making a custom stage 3 (or 4?) and putting a torrent for it somewhere. Post questions/suggestions here, or msg me. Thanks in advance for any help with this.

As I get a better fix on things I'll also be cleaning up the style of the page quite a bit. This is just a placeholder to get something out there NOW in case others are trying to use this particular laptop.

[edit] Camera and WiFi

• I have working camera with latest linux-uvc drivers without any configuration.
• WiFi didn't work until I installed madwifi-ng from svn branch with new hal (not from trunk, [1]). Now it works fine.
• Ethernet now works with default linux kernel for 2008 release
• What I need to do:
  • setup Fn keys for controlling brightness and sound volume
  • setup power management
