Installing on Mac Osx 10.4.2 when I get th the step

root# emerge -a portage


I get the following warning.

warning unknown MACOSX_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET environment variable value: 10.4 ignored (using 10.1) ld: flag: -undefined dynamic_lookup can't be used with MACOSX_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET environment variable set to: 10.1 error: command 'gcc' failed with exit status 1


It appears that the compiler does not understand the Deployment Target Version?

I have the same question as to how to remove the portage user. I am using the latest 10.4 release (I was using it on 10.3 but uninstalled and its still there). Steven 01:30, 8 February 2006 (GMT)
