This is a description of how to get the StreamZap USB IR remote to work under Gentoo.
The page should really be deleted and LIRC referenced instead.
You need to add streamzap to your USE variable.

USE=".... lirc streamzap" LIRC_DEVICES="streamzap" |
Then emerge lirc
