[edit] GoogleEarth In Portage
Google now provides a native ELF beta version of google earth. You can try the beta via portage (emerge -va x11-misc/googleearth) or download it from earth.google.com.
[edit] Installation
I've created this Howto few months ago, and I'm proud it helps so many people (even outside the gentoo community), and sorry for the large amount of hit it produced. Now Google published a Native GoogleEarth binary for Linux, which has been placed in portage... so all you have to do is emerge it!
PS : anyway, in latest wine version there seems to be regressions causing GoogleEarth not working properly
Once again big thanks to everybody
[edit] Thanks
