Download install-amd64-minimal-2007.0.iso or livecd-amd64-installer-2007.0.iso from the gentoo mirrors.


Create a bootable USB drive from Windows following the instructions at

USB Gentoo 2007.0 install http://www.pendrivelinux.com/2007/09/21/usb-gentoo-20070-install/

With the following extra step:

7.5. The iso was extracted to a folder 'gentoo'. Rename this folder and copy all its contents to the root directory of the USB drive, e.g. E:\. Then remove the renamed folder.
