Your hardware may vary slightly. My model's (464E) specs :

[edit] Kernel Config and Working hardware
Works with suspend2 kernel 2.6.19-r3.(kernel config)
- CPU : Frequency scaling works. Load centrino_speedstep
- Trackpad : works.
- On Screen Tablet : works. emerge the following : linuxwacom, setserial. Add wacom init script to startup. Use xorg.conf attached below.
- USB : works.
- Wired Ethernet : works.
- Wireless Ethernet : works. Requires ipw2200 driver version 1.2.1 (currently not in portage), net-wireless/ieee80211 1.2.16 and net-wireless/ipw2200-firmware 3.
- X11 : works. No dri. xorg.conf
- Sound : works. tested with aplay.
- software-suspend2 : works with the attached kernel config and hibernate-script 1.94-r5
- Tablet buttons: work fine, here is a link to the kernel module https://sourceforge.net/projects/lt20button
[edit] Multimedia keys
- The following keys are hard-wired and need no software : Brightness controls (up/down), display switch.
- Registered in acpi : power, sleep, display switch.

[edit] Untested/Non-working hardware
- Internal SD card reader : couldn't configure.
- Firewire : tested with jvc video camera. Image is blocky and distorted. don't know if it's because of the laptop or the driver. no windows to test with.
