Hardware: Pentium centrino 512MB RAM USB S-Video CD Reader/Burner DVD Reader 60GB HHD (not sata)

Installation using a Gentoo Minimal boot cd: Apres the cd boot, type: gentoo acpi=on If the option acpi=on isn't entered, the fan won't be activated at first. After 10 mins of installation, the fan will be at max speed and then the whole system hangs out. So remember to put "acpi=on".
